Fr. Marcus was born and raised on the West Coast of Canada and has a great love for the outdoors. He has a previous degree in Forest Resource Management, and worked for logging companies before pursuing the priesthood.
Fr. Marcus was raised as an agnostic, and is a convert to Catholicism. He became Catholic in 2010 after going through RCIA. He spent a year as a missionary with NET Ministries of Canada. He was ordained to the priesthood on August 15, 2020 and serves as a priest with the Companions of the Cross.
