Children are the future of the Church and families are the core of Christian living.
Children need to learn and experience the joy of being part of the family of God, and there are many ways in our parish to do that (see on the appropriate sections Resources on the main menu). Providing these eperiences rewards ministry workers with their own growth and joy. If you enjoy working with children and families, some of these ministries may be right for you.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
Through this ministry children in our parish family can experience the love of Jesus and be formed by the wonders and riches of their Catholic faith according to the needs and capacities of their stage of development.
Do you love children and appreciate their place in our parish family? Do you have a desire to grow in your faith by experiencing it anew through the eyes of our children? Are you willing to be formed in an approach to catechesis that embraces the Montessori tradition of learning but assumes that the Holy Spirit is the Teacher of us all? If so, you may be called to serve in the CGS Ministry. Training is provided.
