Movies With Meaning

Please join us for our first movie night of the season on Saturday, October 12th, at 7:00 PM in the atrium. We will be showing “The Boys in the Boat,” a sports drama based on the non-fiction novel by Daniel James Brown about the 1936 University of Washington’s rowing team that competed for gold in Berlin in the summer Olympics. It is an inspirational true story that follows a group of underdogs at the height of the Great Depression as they are thrown into the spotlight and take on elite rivals from around the world. Everyone 18 years of age and older is invited to attend and bring a friend for popcorn, a drink, a movie, and an informal discussion, all for only $4. See you at the movies!
