I'm New Indigigenous Reconciliation Funds

Help Take Us Over the Finish Line

During the last two years, your generosity has helped the Archdiocese of Ottawa-Cornwall raise more than $950,000 for the Indigenous Reconciliation Fund (IRF). This money has allowed many worthy projects in our community to receive grants from the IRF. They have included an ongoing Equine Assisted Learning program with Ojibwe Spirit Horses, a confirmation class visiting the tomb of Saint Kateri, the translation of a Catholic hymnal into Mohawk, a Métis art exhibition, Algonquin and Mohawk language revitalization and on it goes.

Our goal is $1.2 million, and with your support for the upcoming special collection the weekend of November 2nd and 3rd, we will reach our goal this year (2 years ahead of schedule) and allow many more exciting and important projects to be funded. Together, we, Non-Indigenous and Indigenous, can continue the journey toward healing. For more info about the IRF projects or to donate today, go to journeyforhealing.ca
