You are invited to the first of parish council’s Movies with Meaning series on January 27 at 7:00pm in the atrium at a cost of $3 per person.
A United Kingdom (based on the book Colour Bar) is the true story of King Seretse Khama of Botswana and how his loving but controversial marriage to a British white woman, Ruth Williams, put his kingdom into political and diplomatic turmoil.
Please plan to attend this movie , which will be followed by an informal discussion. Why not invite your friends and neighbours too? You are encouraged to bring any leftover Christmas baking lurking in your freezer for the refreshments table.
See you at the movies!
